Authors are required to submit items online and to check the status of current submissions

Consent for Publication

Authors are required to give ASEANJP consent for publication of the submitted paper, which must be done by:

1) Filling in a consent for publication form, available for downloading here. Please insert the authors' names and digital signatures and the date of the submission and upload the saved file in to ASEANJP's journal system as a supplementary file during the five-step submission process. The word document can be saved as a Pdf file and uploaded if preferred.

Please note! If it's not possible to insert digital signatures in to the word document, ASEANJP accepts submissions wherein only the author names and date are included.

Please note that direct submissions are accepted until 31st December 2011. From 1st January 2012 only online submissions will be accepted.

Conflict of Interest

The authors have to clearly state the conflict of interest (if any).  If an author has any financial or personal relationships with editor, any institution or any drug company which may inappropriately influence (bias) his or her actions, it should be clearly stated in the manuscript. Concealment of facts may be strictly dealt according to the journal’s existing publication policy."

Source of Funding

The authors have to clearly state the source of funding received for conducting the study.

Human Studies and Animal Experiments 

All research studies may be conducted in accordance with the ethical standards and guidelines according to the Helsinki Declaration 1975, and revised in 2000. The authors should clearly describe the care and use of laboratory animals if used for any experimental study.

Manuscript preparation must meet the Journal requirements, which are in accordance with "Uniform Requirements for Manuscripts Submitted to Biomedical Journals" developed by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (available at Full author guidelines and instructions are available for downloading at the link below.

Originality and copyright policy:

Manuscripts are reviewed with the understanding that they represent original material, have never been published before, are not under consideration for publication elsewhere, and have been approved by all authors. Prior publication constitutes any form of publication other than an abstract and includes invited articles, proceedings, symposia, and book chapters. Authors must fully inform the Editor during the online submission process if the submitted manuscript contains data and/or clinical observations that have been published or submitted for publication elsewhere, supply copies of such material, and explain the differences between the previous and submitted works. All accepted manuscripts become the property of ASEAN Federation of Psychiatry and Mental Health and may not be published elsewhere without written permission from ASEAN Federation of Psychiatry and Mental Health.
